Navaratri is celebrated at LWA Chennai one of the best schools in Vandalur Kelambakkam Road with enthusiasm and fervor.

This year Navaratri is celebrated in LWA Chennai one of school with finest infrastructure in Tambaram with usual spirit. This festival is held in honour of Goddess Meenakshi in all her forms, which embody fury, compassion and wisdom in South India. Navaratri celebrates the victory of good over evil by goddess Durga. It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of India. In the eastern and northeastern states of India, the Durga Pujais synonymous with Navaratri, wherein goddess Durga battles and emerges victorious over the buffalo demon Mahishasur. Navratri means 'nine nights' in Sanskrit and is celebrated in LWA one of best school in Guduvanchery which gives prime importance to dance and other cultural activities.

At LWA Chennai we celebrate we keep Golu in the school premises. Students of Class IV in LWA Chennai have taken initiative. They have brought dolls and idols and decorated the padi /steps.

Navratri and Sundal are inseparable. Whenever we think of Navratri, immediately our mind equates with Sundal and vice versa. Sundal or cooked pulses, which is a must Prasadam for Navrathri, is given as Prasadam all the Golu days. At LWA Chennai one of finest schools in Kelambakkam, the festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm. Special assembly is planned by Class IV Students of LWA , one the best schools in Perungalathur by enacting a skit signifying the festival .

Megha event is planned at LWA Chennai one the best school in Vandalur Kelambakkam on 30 Sep 2022 followed by Dandiya raas a special dance event. Dandiya Raas is the socio-religious folk dance popularly performed in the festival of Navaratri. Students and staff will partake in the festivities.
