Lightworkers Academy, Uniworldcity ,Nallambakkam,one of best CBSE Schools in Kelambakkam celebrated LPL- Lightworkers Academy Premier League-2022 on October 15. Dhyan Chand Awardee, International Para Athelete and National awardee , Shri J Ranjithkumar was the chief guest of the day, Shri R Asokan Rt. Physical Director/ AHM, NLCI Hr Sec School, Neyveli & Dr MS Nagarajan, Senior Manager , Special Olympics , Managing Committee of LWA were the guests of honour. Principal Mrs Santhi Swaminathan welcomed and led the guests to the stage. The event started with welcoming the dignitaries by students of LWA Chennai , one of best schools in Vandalur Kelambakkam Road, Scouts & guides colour party followed by Tamil Thai vazhuthu, Flag hoisting, March Past , Lighting the torch and Oath taking.

A welcome dance performed by the preprimary students of LWA one of the best CBSE schools in Perungalathur, dressed in , with blue pomp pomps in their hands . Classes 2and 3 of LWA Chennai one of best schools in Tambaram made a spectacular LPL formation.

The theme was chess Class 4 & 5 of LWA Chennai , one of best schools in Perungalathur displayed with hula hoops, Bamboo sticks, parachutes and ended on a patriotic note with the tricolor formation. Silambam and Karate, brick breaking and a Human Pyramid displays added splendour .Relay race was conducted followed by the award ceremony for various team sports conducted under the LPL Banner.

Mr J Ranjith Kumar spoke about how education and sports go hand in hand in student's life. He insisted that parents should support their wards and encourage them to excel in all fields. He appreciated the efforts of LWA School in promoting sports activities and having an excellent facility for Physical Education .The Overall trophy was bagged by the Ganga house .The event was concluded by Vote of Thanks and the National Anthem by the LWA Chennai one the best CBSE school in Tambaram with fine infrastructure.
