LIGHTWORKERS ACADEMY - 5-June-2026
We celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm through hands-on, age-appropriate activities across primary classes. The goal was to instill love for nature and responsibility towards the environment from an early age.
Activities Conducted
Classes 1 & 2: Nature Walk* 🌿
Our youngest learners explored the school garden and campus, observing plants, insects, and birds. Teachers explained the importance of trees and clean surroundings.
Class 3: Poster Making on “Save Nature, Save Environment”
Students created colorful posters with strong messages on reducing waste, saving water, and protecting trees.
Class 4: Slogan Writing Competition ✍️
Students penned creative and impactful slogans like “Go Green, Breathe Clean” and “One Earth, One Chance”. The activity boosted their awareness and language skills.
Class 5: Plant a Sapling Drive 🌱
Each student planted a sapling in the school premises and pledged to care for it. The activity connected learning with action and gave students a sense of ownership for the environment.
Thank you to all teachers and students for making the day meaningful and memorable. Let’s continue to protect and nurture our planet every day!
